both hagar boys had to come from the back... and tina started in the front.... gamboa just got lucky so did nathan

What does it mean to get lucky? Was it luck the week before when Flud got put in the back and finished 2nd?

is it luck when your "3 year motor" hasnt tooken a crap on you yet or what would you call that

The last 5 races i've finished no lower than the top 3.. lucky? i was black flaged in the heat race is that lucky? the officials made the right call I'm not going to complain but at the same time I'm going to say this { it was the right thing to do at the time and it was also the smart thing to do. i think i saved my car with the decision i made} so where is it that you think i started in the main.. lucky? come on newman you can do better then that.. lucky?

Nathan started 8th, Jordan 9th, Dylan 10th. All three cars had equal amounts of work to do.the 33G started 20th. Actually 18th cuz the 69 didnt start.

dylan had to go to the back cuz he stopped on the track. and jordan got spun out and had to go to the back

OOOoooo so what you are really saying is that jordan and dylan are having "BAD LUCK" and that's way the rest of us are "LUCKY" that's funny

Racin is 75% luck. It better be on ur side at all times. The "luck" has shifted in the Mini Stock class for sure towards the end of the season here, but just not soon enough I don't think. Only 3 races left, I think it's a done deal, if, we are lucky!

NEWMAN you are mistaken if "you" think? that anyone driving a mini stock at the Bakersfield speedway thinks that Jordan and Dylan won't finish 1st and 2nd in the Points.. for as hardcore as you are in to mini's!! you should start thinking about moving up to American Stock.. you might enjoy it.... "LUCKY" please just think about it... {mama always said stupid is as stupid does}

u know what i am going to have to agree with Gamboa on this one, most of his exp on the track has not been luck, considering i have seen "PEOPLE DRIVE RIGHT INTO HIM AN THE TRACK SAID HE TURNED DOWN INTO THE OTHER DRIVER" not saying any names, but Jeff has been cheated alot lately. I have seen him drive he races clean each race. and ends up either getting black flagged for a bull crap call or ends up being cheated out of a race.

and newman who are u cause all u seem to do is run ur mouth and constantly cause problems on here, u say people get lucky but its not luck, ur not racing the other drivers ur racing the track, if u finish then u have betten he track along with the other drivers.

so before u start talken anymore trash how about u come out and tell people who you are, cause for all we know u could be siding with one of the teams,

o an BTW how about u go back to ur soap box derby racing cause that seems to be the only thing ur good at. cause running ur mouth isnt getting u any where.

Jeff has been putting up very respectable numbers and should be acknowledged for it. Newman your 75% luck comments are ridiculous. I guess luck is the reason you see the same guys on the pad each week. Everyone who makes it to the pad worked their ass off to get there. On and off the track. And FUMS your dead on right this time. Maybe bad luck comes from bad karma?

Thanks Mike my team has worked hard all year and the last five races in bako show it.

I have been reading this thread and had to laugh a little about this luck thing. Luck can be taken out of the equation by just working hard. for example before every race i do a complete nut and bolt check i inspect every inch of the car and if i find any warren parts i replace it. I dont go to the junk yard for important parts like a lot of others do. By doing this she dont break every week and has finished the race. The only reason im putting in my 2 cents is because after last weekends race i heard a roomer that some people are starting to notice how my wife has been improving and are saying that the 49 car has an illegal bar on it. Lol this has been inspected by the main guy in tech and it has been approved as being legal. The thing is she is listening to me on how to race the car on the track and thus getting faster. This is not luck it is hard work and practice. for a rookie and missing 4 races she will be moving to 13th in the points. I agree that there are some drivers that have worked hard and have improved and some guys call that luck i dont. Gamboa is one that i have watched and is working hard cudos to your improvement. We are all out here to have fun and that is what my wife is doing and if she finishes the race and i can drive the car on the trailer that night it is a victory for her in my eyes

If anyone of you think that luck does not have to be on your side every time you are on the track, you are mistaken!! I am not saying that people has had luck in the past couple of weeks, some people has worked hard and are charging hard, but, you gotta have luck on your side also.

you'd be real lucky if somone doesn't wreck you!
