| I'd have to say if Bruce gave me everything I wanted I could run up front too. Aaron I give ya props for doing what ya can with what ya got. It is tough to not spend serious money to be up front in any class anymore. I have seen people with little money run up front in the Minis and in the Americans but not in the Hobbys in about the last 4-7 years honestly. The old saying "How fast you wanna go? How much money ya got?" comes to mind. Yes there are good drivers in all the classes but at some point the equipment shines also at every level even up to the cup level. Nobodies running junkyard anything in the Hobbys anymore. What is not store bought on a Hobby anymore besides piddley bullshit like a-arms and the basic frame on a fast car? Kevin you are a great driver don't get me wrong but if you were to run Aarons equipment you would be where he is at the end of the night 8-22 not 2-5.-Ghost | |

i agree that i wouldnt be in the top 5 but i also have learned over the years with all my traveling. and i have driven some junk cars that didnt handle and you learn to drive thru them and make them handle the best you can. it takes a driver to go fast in a junk car. it takes a driver to slow down and go fast in a good car

| Hey, I like this guy!
Anyway-- I'm also not saying that Kevin wouldn't do any better than me, because he would. He has far more hobby experience and has the knowledge of a front running car to apply to this-- I just think that while I run on the edge in the B Main and finish 15th in the final-- he'd be running safely (maybe not leading) in the B and maybe snagging 10th in the main were he to jump in to my car. I was moving over some the last race for the McGowan cars coming from the back because I didn't want them to run over me-- I could have blocked them and tried to race them, but I knew they had faster cars so why hold them up, for Van Scoy at least, he managed to pick up quite a few positions.
Its both different abilities and views-- someone like Kevin might not have been so keen on just pulling over and letting someone by.

I'll help you Aaron. 1st always race the cars in front of you, not the ones behind you. If they are fast enough they will pass you eventually. You need to keep your eyes and mind in front of you.

| Thats what I do Chad, I knew when I had the 32 and 32R behind me, those are fast cars, why lose the car infront of me by trying to race those guys-- instead-- why not let those fast guys go, then go pass the car I was racing and have a chance of beating (17z, 18) and open up a hole for me to use. | |
